Designed for People
Geyser’s floor plates are divided into five sub-buildings set around a leafy courtyard. This maximises natural daylight penetration into, and exterior views out from office and retail spaces. Each sub-building is wrapped in a dynamic, semi reflective white twin walled façade which opens and closes to control the temperature, eliminating the need for mechanical air conditioning or heating.
It was designed to have a lower energy demand, with the capability to use 27% of the energy of a similar building its size, and half the amount of artificial lighting of a typical retail/office building.
Tenants can also reduce water costs with the low-flow bathroom fittings and rainwater collection system. The building features a car stacking machine, allowing accessible and secure parking.
